The purpose of this research was to determine the food preferences and consumption junior high school students, as well factors that influence them. This study utilized a descriptive design. 352 respondents were students from national in Leyte, Philippines chosen using stratified random selection. 3-point hedonic preference scale scale. information gathered tabulated frequency counts applied. findings revealed banana cue most preferred Grade 7 rice for 8 10 chips 9 students. consumed among all grade levels rice. mainly influenced include foods appeal their senses, choices made by family or parents, availability food. Food are important be given much attention persons health lies on A future should wider scope more respondents.
